It has a very new angle and a fast pace. The protagonist has a faint human-machine feel and is very focused on himself. It is indeed as the Sorting Hat said, Ravenclaw's academic study and Gryffindor's courage and adventure. There is no big plot rhythm, just the kind that is light, silent, and then ends everything.
