I'm a new author and this is my first novel.
In the story, there are heartbeats hidden under the desk, secret loves that dare not be spoken out, the sneaking approach of repeat students and fresh graduates, missed moments when they were young, and reunions after many years. It comes from my truest thoughts and obsessions, and is a tender and sour time slowly written into words.
Gu Liang is silent and tolerant, with low self-esteem but reliable; Jiang Bin is quiet and gentle, hiding his love for his entire youth. They walked from the senior high school classroom to the evening breeze on the playground, from passing each other to the reunion. There was no excitement, only a steady stream of heartbeats and waiting.
As a newcomer, my writing style is still green, but every word and every sentence is serious enough. Thank you to every reader who is willing to click, stay, and accompany me. Your reading is the best encouragement to me.
