An unknown plague called the “Doomsday Virus” suddenly appears, causing the organs of those infected to fail within 72 hours. The only cure is hidden inside a strange “Survival Game System.” A transparent score counter appears on the wrist of each person chosen, displaying their “Survival Points.” Points are earned by completing various survival missions, and every 1,000 points can be exchanged for a dose of suppressant that lasts 24 hours. If a person’s points reach zero or they fail to inject the suppressant on time, the virus will break out in full.
Even more cruelly, the System only activates in specific areas: schools randomly selected across the country. Class 7 of Senior Year at No. 1 Middle School, where the heroine Jin Miaomiao studies, happens to be the only “game zone” in the city.
