I’m a Middleman in DNF, Buying a House Outright in Real Life

The protagonist jolts awake in a hospital bed ten years in the future and confirms he has returned to 2008, not long after DNF’s public beta launch. Faced with the familiar yet unfamiliar login screen, he must immediately decide how to use his limited starting funds to get his plan underway. After building up his initial capital by reselling low-level materials such as “Cat Demon Claws,” he faces his first major investment decision: should he take a gamble on acquiring the design for the entire region’s first “Meteor Light Sword,” or continue his materials business more cautiously? The blurb doesn’t do it justice. Read the story itself!
