In the winter of 1984, my father gave up his place of survival to a neighbor and never came back. The mother grinds tofu alone and raises six children. The second sister dropped out of school to help, and the eldest sister took the exam twice and finally became a police officer. Just when life was about to get better, her mother was killed by gangsters. At the funeral, neighbors discussed where to send the six children. The twenty-three-year-old eldest brother-in-law stood up and said: "Brothers and sisters, all come with me. As long as I have a mouthful of food to eat, I will not let you go hungry."
This is a story based on real experience. About loss, about protection, about the person called brother-in-law.
