The Demon Cult's leader, Black-Hearted Tiger, practices the evil Black-Hearted Fiend Palm, but the technique backfires. Only qilin blood can dispel the fiendish energy and help him dominate the martial world. To protect the forests and the land, Daoist Zhurong sends his disciple Bai Mao to forge the Seven Swords. Once the swords are united, they can defeat Black-Hearted Tiger.
Guided by the Island Sage of Snow Island, Bai Mao sets out to find nine-day meteorite iron and forge the Seven Swords. Along the way, he meets Xuan Tu, master of the Ice Soul Sword; Zi Ling, master of the Purple Cloud Sword; Dou Wei, master of the Rain Flower Sword; Lei Zhentian, master of the Thunder Sword; Gui Jiu, master of the Green Light Sword; and A Yun, master of the Whirlwind Sword.
The Seven Swords unite and grievously wound Black-Hearted Tiger, who flees to the desert with his remaining followers. After wiping out the Demon Cult's remnants, the Seven Swordsmen each go into seclusion, leaving behind a promise to send letters by spirit pigeon: should disaster once again befall the martial world, the Seven Swords will reunite and stand ready to fight!
The green mountains endure, and the legend of the Seven Swords will live on forever.
