I Became a Cult Leader on Terra by Making Memes

Lin Mo was a twenty-six-year-old heavy internet user and a professional gacha player who always ended up with nothing.

One day, he woke up after transmigrating into Arknights as the Doctor, lying in a Rhodes Island medical pod, with a worried Amiya beside him and Kal'tsit standing at the door with a gaze cold enough to freeze someone to death.

A normal person's reaction: shock, confusion, and caution.

Lin Mo's reaction: “Crap, I don't think I have my phone.” “Do you guys have Wi-Fi here?”

He wasn't making a meme. This was genuinely the only language system he knew how to use.

Even worse, he discovered that in a world where nobody understood memes, any offhand snarky remark he made would be taken as an enigmatic oracle.

He said, “You've got something going on this time,” and two Operators spent the night puzzling over it, convinced there had to be some profound meaning.

He blurted out to Texas, “Can Texas do it?” Texas took the question seriously and began wondering what exactly the Doctor was asking her to do.

He tried to pretend he hadn't noticed Nearl, but one glance from him left her wondering all day what the Doctor was testing her on.

Lin Mo tried to explain: “I'm just being snarky. There's no deeper meaning.”

Nobody believed him. Everyone looked at him as if he were a living immortal.

He wanted to be a normal person.

But this world was forcing him to become the leader of a cult.
