After Marrying a Rough Man Who Couldn’t Have Children, the Delicate Widow Held His Waist Every Day

“Su Wan, you jinxed your husband and now you’re a widow. Exchanging you for fifty yuan and ration coupons is a compliment!”

“Why don’t you take that compliment yourself? I, Su Wan, refuse this marriage, and that’s final!”

In the late 1970s, with nowhere else to turn, the beautiful young widow Su Wan clutched her brigade referral letter and grabbed Huo Zheng, a stern-faced army officer passing through on a family visit.

Rumor had it that Regiment Commander Huo had won countless battle honors, but was cold and ruthless. Most importantly, he had been injured and could never have children!

“Commander Huo, do you need a contract wife to do your laundry and cooking? One who won’t expect to have children.”

Huo Zheng’s eyes darkened as he looked at the delicate woman before him, with her slim waist, long legs, and reddened eyes. His rough thumb brushed her cheek, and his Adam’s apple bobbed. “We’ll go to the commune, get our marriage certificate, and leave with the army tonight.”

Everyone in the compound laughed at Su Wan, calling her a temptress doomed to a life of celibacy despite having a husband.

Until one night, Su Wan, eyes shimmering with desire, tried to sneak out of their apartment building, holding her aching waist. The man’s tall frame blocked the door behind her.

Breathing heavily, he squeezed her soft flesh. “Be good. Military marriages are hard to end. Since the doctor says I’m infertile, we should try a few more times. Maybe a miracle will happen.”

So much for being unable to have children! Who started the rumor about his stamina that leaves her weak in the knees?
