On a rainy night, I hid in a ruined temple in the mountains, only to find five temple rules written in blood behind the door.
"Sleeping with the door behind your back, don't answer or look." "Knock on the door when you are young, who do you need to ask..."
I gritted my teeth and obeyed, but watched helplessly as my fellow travelers were swallowed up by the darkness.
Before dawn, I found a blood note on his body: "The temple rules are just the bottom line for life. After the rooster crows and before sunrise, three things must be completed before you can truly leave."
I followed the instructions in the blood book and wrote the hour on the bronze mirror with my own blood, then smashed the mirror to pieces.
I thought I had escaped.
Until a rainy night a year later, downstairs of my house, the oil-paper umbrella dripping with water that had appeared in front of the ruined temple stood quietly.
A voice sounded close to my ear: "The time is wrong... Come back..."
I know I can't escape. That cannibal temple is still waiting for me.
