This book builds a basic world view: a near future in which abnormal phenomena occur frequently, monsters from other dimensions eroding reality, and the emergence of "sequence awakeners" among humans. The protagonist Chen Mo awakened a high-level ability suspected of being in the 001 sequence during the crisis, and was recruited by the National Abnormal Phenomenon Response Center. Subsequent chapters will further explore the ability system of the Awakened, the truth about extradimensional creatures, and the secret behind the disappearance of the protagonist's father.
