A Slacker College Student Borrows from Loan Sharks to Brave a Secret Realm from the Start

[Comedy] [Fantasy + urban imagination] [Passionate and high-energy] Wu Yu, a college student who has given up on life, graduates straight into unemployment and lives on instant noodles.

His parents died young, and all his grandfather left him was a rundown old apartment and a mysterious mechanical box he couldn’t open.

No one knew the secret hidden inside the box, the secret behind half a lifetime of his grandfather’s madness:

A remote mountain range, the Big Dipper, a strange black iron token, and one phrase he kept murmuring:

“I saw someone ascend to heaven in broad daylight with my own eyes.”

To find out what happened to his grandfather all those years ago, Wu Yu ropes in his unlucky buddy Chen Fan, a coward who talks tough and claims to be the chosen protagonist.

No money for gear? Borrow some!

The mountain roads are rough? Buy a beat-up car and charge ahead!

The road ahead is dangerous? Just go for it!

Crushing loan debts, deadly secrets hidden in forbidden realms, and ancient mechanisms that threaten to kill them at every turn.

While everyone else heads to the factory to tighten screws, he heads deep into the mountains to risk his life.

This trip will either make them rich and turn their lives around, or leave their bones buried in the mountains...

But they have no idea that the real horror is only just beginning.
