The new work is "Rebirth of the NBA: The Soul of the Point Guard"
Introduction to the work
In 2010, in Sham Shui Po, Hong Kong, 17-year-old academic player Chen Fan fell into a coma in the final collision of the game. When he woke up, he had a memory from 2023 in his body - he was an NBA All-Star point guard, a tragic hero who made a buzzer-beating shot in the finals but didn't know the result.
In his new life, he faced a frail body that was only 1.75 Meters tall and weighed 62 kilograms. He was faced with the heavy expectation of his parents to "go home and study if he can't play well" and the cold judgment of a professional scout that he was "innately deficient and has limited potential."
But he comes back with fifteen years of NBA experience. He remembers how to crack every tactic, every defensive timing, and every key shot selection. From the winning start of the Hong Kong Academic League, to the six weeks of purgatory in the CBA training camp, to the brutal competition in the Golden State Warriors International Training Camp - Chen Fan uses the shortest body to play the smartest basketball.
"Height is a number, basketball is art." He told the doubters.
