I want to write a story set before the timeline of the TV series. At this point, Shen Wenlang hasn't helped Huayong put on an act yet. I think Shen Wenlang must have treated Gao Tu pretty well before the events of the show. Otherwise, without at least a little sweetness between them, how could Gao Tu have liked Shen Wenlang for so long? So in this timeline, Shen Wenlang is still stubborn and sharp-tongued, but not quite so cutting. Gao Tu doesn't have an Omega partner who needs comforting, and Shen Wenlang doesn't have a Secretary Hua who is “different” to him.
