In the winter of 1197, scribe Adrian was ordered to investigate an unsolved case two years ago: the mysterious death of the abbot of the monastery. The young deacon was accused of murder, but died in the dungeon before trial.
The case has long been closed. But two anonymous letters were sent one after another, claiming that "the truth is hidden in the stained glass."
That glass is in the castle. The painting is "The Last Judgment", and the Virgin's blue robe is bottomless. Adrian discovered that there was an erased name hidden in the folds of the blue robe.
He looked through files, questioned witnesses, and looked for clues. Every road leads in a different direction, and everyone says half and half hidden.
Until he discovered that a word had been erased from the last line of the case file.
