The protagonist, Lin An, struggles, loses his way, and ultimately finds his way back to the right path in life. He regains his confidence in his first year of middle school. At the end of his first year of high school, he is reassigned to a different class and loses his way again. After failing the college entrance exam, he enters society early after three years at a vocational college. Pressured by his family, he marries young. Lost at work, he becomes deeply absorbed in it for a time. After a car accident, he regrets his choices and goes home to reflect. He meets the person behind what happened to him and turns the tables in a desperate fight.
