[No CP] [Strong Female Lead] [Ensemble Cast]
In the wasteland city of Piersos, steel walls enclose a chasm between the classes. Beyond them lurk disaster beasts that devour living things and pollution that seeps in everywhere.
Jiang Yuan is a lone wolf who clawed her way out of the mud in the Lower City. Her supernatural ability causes her to steadily disappear, and her only reason for living is to protect the younger sister she took in and three children.
She dares to storm an illegal clinic alone to steal suppressants, venture into the wilderness to hunt disaster beasts, and trade the little lifespan she has left for a future in which her family can escape the mire.
A mysterious crystal she picked up by chance thrusts her into the heart of the storm engulfing this post-apocalyptic world.
An investigator from the Abnormality Management Bureau knocks on her door, and from that moment on, she is swept into the vortex of this ruined world.
From the Lower City to the Upper City, from standing alone to gathering allies, Jiang Yuan finally understands that her purpose was never to sacrifice herself. It is to cleave through the darkness with the blade in her hand and protect those she loves with her own flesh and blood.
(The numbers were terrible, only single digits, so I had to drop it. I can't even apply to mark it complete...)
