His Little Judge

Lu Jin has two faces. In public, he is the unruly founder of a law firm; behind closed doors, he is the all-powerful heir to a criminal empire, ruthless and decisive, with no weaknesses. That is, until Lin Zhiyi, a top student at a law and political science university, crashes into his world and becomes the one person he is obsessively devoted to, the one exception to every rule. She believes in justice and has faith in the law, but the moment she witnesses him eliminate a traitor, her world comes crashing down. Misunderstandings pile up, and people keep driving them apart. The more Lu Jin tries to protect her, the farther she runs. But when danger strikes, he is always the one standing in front of her; when she breaks down in the dead of night, he is always there to watch over her tenderly. From possessive coercion to healing amid bloodshed, from the euphoria of victory in their final showdown to the announcement that she has passed the bar exam, Lin Zhiyi gradually comes to accept every dark and tender part of him. He gives up the underworld and washes away his sins for her; she upholds the law and stays true to her principles for him. The underworld heir and the gentle law student take love as their blade, cut through the darkness, and become each other's path to justice.
