[Western Fantasy] [Single Female Lead] [No System] [No Mindless Power Fantasy] [Slow-Building Development] [War of Faiths] [Academy Management]
Wieland is a crystal dragon stranded in a foreign land who only wants to go home. By chance, he takes over a complete mess: Crescent Academy, an institution on the verge of splitting apart. Faced with the Church’s monopoly on “divinely bestowed magic,” infighting among the factions, and the lurking shadow of the Evernight, he reveals the trump card that will turn the world upside down: magic comes from understanding, and knowledge is power!
And so, history’s most “unorthodox” headmaster is born:
A swindler selling shoddy wooden carvings? That’s him!
A “tyrant” who introduces physical training? That’s him!
A legendary mage who takes apart an evil god with arcana? Still him!
Alice Winslet, a down-on-her-luck noblewoman who has spent five years searching for the “Knowledge Dragon,” arrives at the academy. She intends to find the dragon who saved her life, but through a twist of fate, she becomes the dean of “Warhammer Academy” and ends up working under Wieland, the so-called “legendary mage” who never stops spinning tall tales. She has no idea that the one she’s searching for is fretting over how to hide his tail right under her nose.
The Church of the Blazing Sun brands him the chief of heretics, conservative professors are sharpening their knives, and the remnants of the Moonlit Order accuse him of blasphemy... Meanwhile, Wieland uses knowledge to pry open the shackles of thought while calculating in a pile of gems: Get this mess sorted, obtain the star chart, and go home! As for the “Warhammer dean” at his side, who’s getting harder and harder to fool... she might be a bit of a problem?
This is a revolution waged on the chessboard of an academy, with ideas as its weapons. The crystal dragon’s road home is also the dawn of a new age of magic.
A magical revolution that overturns conventional wisdom begins now!
