Synopsis

(Lordship + no System + mistaken assumptions + fictional world)

Overworked to death in his previous life, office worker Sato Seiichi is reborn in another world with a single conviction: never work again. He becomes Noah von Eldra, a border lord, and spends seven years getting himself assigned to the kingdom’s most desolate region, the Gray Forest: a perfect place to slack off, where even monsters can’t be bothered to visit.

His daily routine is simple: nap for four hours, lie on top of the watchtower and “supervise” his territory, and keep saying, “That’s too much trouble.” When trouble strikes, his first response is, “Anna, you handle it.” When his engagement threatens to become a problem, he uses a “pioneer’s decree” to legally exile himself. When bandits surround him, he calmly waits until he has exposed the hostages’ location before acting. Afterward, he names his killing move “Quiet Blue,” explaining, “It’s quiet, so it won’t wake anyone from their nap.”

But beneath that “laziness” lies a sharp mind. At seven, he expertly exploits a loophole in the law to refuse a duchess. At a royal council meeting, he wins over the finance minister with the absurd suggestion of “lying down to catch the water.” After rescuing a noble girl, he strokes her hair and says, “Let’s go together.” He claims he’s “afraid of trouble,” yet builds hot springs for his people. He says he “doesn’t want to owe anyone,” yet reveals his hidden strength to save someone. He insists he’s “just stalling,” yet sits by the hot springs with a stranger, a monk, until they fall asleep.

Most absurd of all, he has never admitted to being the “God of Napping,” yet a religion has formed around him all the same. He has never promoted the “Way of Napping,” yet its teachings have spread throughout the kingdom. The finance minister takes on all his government work, the king plans to retire to his territory in three years, and the princess races there through the night with a copy of Royal Secrets, eager to ask him how to be admired without making an effort

My Solo Project Has Reached 80,000 Words, but I’m Too Nervous to Promote It as a Debut

Looking for books like "Reborn: The Campus Heartthrob Always Wants to Cling to Me". I've been writing solo for 80,000 words, and I've been really enjoying writing every day. Now that I'm about to make my debut, I'm feeling a little nervous. I'm worried it won't go well and will affect my mood for writing.
