From the Start, I Had Two Swords: The Sword of Benevolence and the Sword of Righteousness

Chen Ye, who worked himself to death from too much overtime, transmigrates to a sword-and-magic otherworld, where he becomes bound to two strange swords.

One is the Sword of Benevolence: it harms no living creature and never strikes down a good intention.

The other is the Sword of Righteousness: it ignores defenses and strikes directly at injustice.

With the twin swords of benevolence and righteousness in hand, Chen Ye had hoped to keep his head down and survive. But then he sees villages attacked by monsters, nobles exploiting the people without restraint, and a kingdom on the brink of war… He realizes that one sword makes it impossible for him to stand apart, while the other makes it impossible to turn a blind eye to injustice.

When the twin swords of healing and judgment are drawn together, this former office drone, accustomed to lying flat, is forced to become an arbiter walking the line between good and evil.

This is the story of an ordinary person with a modern, down-to-earth sense of justice, trying to survive in a chaotic otherworld by reasoning things out.

Only, the logic of this world seems rather different from the kind his two swords follow.
