Peering into the Divine

To save his father, Shen Jingchen enters the world of the Night Watchers. In an underground pool of flesh, he kills part of the ancient evil god Yao, only to discover that it was just the tip of the iceberg. Yao’s true body is still sleeping beneath the ancient city of Laosi in western Hunan and could awaken at any moment. Shen Jingchen carries the blood of the Night Watchers’ nineteenth-generation Lampbearer, as well as the Host bloodline that Yao desires most.
