[Apocalypse + antibodies + hard-core survival + taking down Umbrella]
The day he was injected with the virus, Chen Mo thought he was done for.
But when a Licker's fangs sank into his neck, the monster suddenly shrieked as if doused in sulfuric acid. His blood had become the virus's natural enemy.
“Capture Subject 73! His antibodies can save us!” Umbrella's pursuers had arrived, their guns aimed at the back of his head.
“No. They can destroy you!” Chen Mo clenched his bloodstained fire axe and looked at the green markings spreading across his arm. He smiled.
He had crawled out of the laboratory's cage. Behind him were monsters devouring his fellow prisoners; before him stood Umbrella, which saw him as a “living test subject.”
A vagrant's severed leg, a nurse's blood, the metal eye of a Tyrant, countless eyes in an Isaacs symbiote...
He'd had enough of this damned apocalypse!
As scarlet serum flooded the entire city and a symbiote monster smashed through City Hall's high walls, Chen Mo wiped the blood from his face.
“You want to use me as a cure? Ask the axe in my hand first!”
“My antibodies don't just kill monsters. They can tear down your nest of scum, too!”
[PS: No System, no saintly protagonist. An ordinary man fights to the bitter end against impossible odds. Every chapter has him dancing on the edge of life and death. Umbrella? Just a stepping stone on the protagonist's road to a comeback!]
