An exercise threw him from the training ground in 2024 into the anti-Japanese battlefield in 1940.
He is Lin Zhiyuan, a non-commissioned officer of the People's Liberation Army Reconnaissance Battalion. Holding a Type 95 assault rifle and wearing digital camouflage, he fell into the smoke-filled past in an instant. Here, there are no drill shells, no retreat signals - only real muzzles, real death.
He met Li Yunlong. The legendary character on the screen was looking at him and the "flowery clothes" on his body with suspicion.
Eighty years of time, compressed into the distance of a compressed biscuit. He knew what would happen next - the war in North China, the battle of a hundred regiments, the darkest hour before dawn. But he didn't know if he should change it or if he could change it.
In the ruined temple, the recruits whispered; in the night, Zhao Gang left a heavy sentence: "People die here every day."
Under the moonlight, he tightened his grip on the gun from the future.
In the distance, Japanese gunfire is approaching——
He knows history.
But history doesn't know him yet.
Reader comments
This novel is very novel. The characters in the story are not the same old characters.
The writing is quite interesting, and it looks okay.
I couldn't read it until I reached chapter 23. It was too unrealistic. How about blowing up a well and collapsing without water for 5 or 6 hours? The Japanese army broke out and hid in the mountains and forests to fight guerrillas. In 1940? Does the author have a good mind?
