[Obsessive love + pure love + dark and twisted + special treatment + chasing his wife to the crematorium + mutual salvation + taming a dog + the powerful one bows his head]
Niannian, do you know I have never stopped thinking of you?
Ye Niannian: an ordinary name, but the apple of Mo Lingchuan's eye.
After being framed and sent to a psychiatric hospital for six years, he returns in a blaze of power.
Only to discover that someone has cruelly turned the apple of his eye into a pitiful little thing.
None of his previous plans work.
All he can do is set aside his obsessive ways.
He disguises himself as a gentle, harmless big brother next door, and slowly tries to loosen the other man's hold on her.
Little by little, that sweet girl finally comes back.
"Brother Ling, I like your chocolate."
"Brother Ling, I think I've fallen for you."
When all his disguises are stripped away and the truth is exposed,
he is like a little dog on the verge of being abandoned.
"Brother Ling, seeing this side of you only makes it harder for me to let you go."
