A Migrant Worker Takes On the Haunted Bureau, Guarding Home with Soulfire

Li Dagang, a rebar worker, had spent twenty years on construction sites, enduring every hardship under the sun. But he was stumped by the 80,000 yuan needed for his wife's surgery.

His bedridden wife was about to have her medication stopped. With nowhere else to turn, he heard that a construction site had been haunted late at night, and the project office was offering a 100,000-yuan reward to anyone who could deal with it.

While everyone else was too scared to go in, Li Dagang grabbed a rusty shovel and charged straight into the forbidden zone.

Others rely on talismans and magic arts. He relies on twenty years of construction-site expertise!

The leverage he uses to pry rebar sends a mutant creature flying with one swing of his shovel;

The force-dissipating technique he uses to demolish condemned buildings breaks every forbidden art of evil spirits;

The cross-knot he uses to tie rebar seals the rifts to the Nine Netherworlds;

His concrete-pouring skills rebuild the Demon-Suppressing Cauldron of the Nine Provinces!

One shovel earns enough for the surgery and saves his wife;

One shovel slays every demon and monster, protecting his coworkers and brothers;

Until the seal on the Nine Netherworlds' abyss breaks, the Immortal Realm treats humanity as an offering, and the Heavenly Emperor targets his wife and children as sacrifices.

Standing before the Southern Heavenly Gate with his shovel in hand, Li Dagang issues a fierce warning:

Anyone who dares touch my wife and kids, even if you're from the Ninth Heaven, I'll tear you down into construction debris!
