Follow Chen Mo, a down-on-his-luck editor, as he uses a time machine to venture into the long river of history and watch our ancestors from the past five thousand years play murder mystery games, savoring a very different take on history. This story is pure fiction. If anything seems familiar, it might just be true.
Why did Youxiong and Lieshan get into a brawl in Banquan Village? Was it really over this?
Why did Chiyou and his eighty-one sworn brothers gang up on Ji Village, only to get utterly thrashed?
What did Cangjie do to earn such treatment from Chief Ji?
Why did Yao Chonghua nominate Si Wenming to be chief of Huaxia Village?
Why did Si Wenming have everyone melt down the hoes from all the surrounding villages just to make nine giant pots?
I'm Chen Mo. I've stepped into the river of time to meet the great figures of history and hear them tell the mishaps behind their ventures... No, wait, the stories behind their ventures. Welcome to “Watching Our Ancestors Play Werewolf.”
History remains unchanged. From the perspective of an observer, let us appreciate the brilliance of civilization.
