[Shiny Magikarp from the Start + Fishing System + Protagonist’s Growth + Slow Burn + Veteran Author]

Chu Mu, an avid angler, woke up one day to find all kinds of Pokemon news on his phone. He was stunned.

“What do you mean Pokemon have merged with Blue Star?”

After transmigrating to a parallel world, Chu Mu stared at the familiar fishing rod in his hand, dumbfounded.

[Ding! Congratulations, Host, you have awakened the Ultimate Fishing System!]

[The higher the level of the river you fish in, the stronger the Pokemon you catch and the richer your rewards.]

Chu Mu abruptly lifted the fishing rod as it bent under a heavy tug!

[Caught a Magikarp in an ordinary river. Reward: one bottle of mineral water.]

[Caught a Goldeen in an ordinary river. Reward: one Oran Berry.]

[Caught a shiny Magikarp in an ordinary river! Reward: Dragon Dance TM!]

Listening to the System’s rewards, Chu Mu realized there was a problem. The River of Time was a river too, wasn’t it?!

“The strongest weather is rain. If you don’t believe me, take it up with my shiny Gyarados!”

Years later, Chu Mu stood in front of a television and said to the reporter with a perfectly serious expression.

After fishing up a shiny Magikarp, Chu Mu set off on his journey to become the greatest Water-type Trainer!
