There Is No Sea in Shanghai

Core concept: This is the story of two thirty-year-old “late bloomers,” each shining in their own field, who go from being fiercely competitive rivals at work to soulmates who heal one another in the city of Shanghai. It is both a game of love between adults and a brave exploration of how to stay true to yourself.

Core theme: True love is not about sacrifice, but about helping each other thrive. The best kind of relationship is one where “we are together, yet still free to be ourselves.”
