My Husband Is Actually the Sickliest Man in Northern Wei

[Historical, Ancient] [History] [Transmigration] [Alternate Setting]

In the seventeenth year of Taihe, Emperor Xiaowen is about to move the capital. The Northern Wei is rife with undercurrents: the imperial clans vie for power, the Hu and Han peoples clash, and the seeds of the Six Garrisons Rebellion have long been sown. The prelude to a chaotic age is about to begin.

Cui Yuan, a modern graduate student of history, unexpectedly falls into this turbulent era and becomes an illegitimate son of the Qinghe Cui clan. He has nothing to his name except a mind full of historical records chronicling the Northern Wei's rise and fall over a century, and the strategic skill to set events in motion.

To escape the infighting between legitimate and illegitimate heirs and establish himself in this troubled age, he accepts an imperial decree and marries Murong Zheng, an orphan of the Xianbei Murong clan and a battle-hardened female general of the northern frontier.

One is a frail scholar who feigns illness and conceals his edge; the other is a fearsome warrior renowned across the battlefield. A marriage of convenience, in which each seeks what they need, becomes the beginning of the upheaval that will rock the Northern Wei.
