In the wasteland world after the "Great Blight" event, rust fungi infected most of the earth's creatures, and humans retreated to the last Ark City. Resources are exhausted, order is broken, and survivors are lingering inside the high walls.
During a scavenging mission, botanist Lin Zhi discovered that the infected phage was guarding a mysterious blue flower. He named it "Sprout" - a substance that not only delays infection but also inspires healthy evolution in humans. However, the elders who control Ark City will regard the "Sprout" as a threat and attempt to use it as the ultimate weapon to control the people.
