The South Wind Knows My Heart, Carrying Dreams to Shiyan

Shi Chengyan has always thought of himself as Nan Nan’s neighborly big brother. Since he never had a little sister of his own, he has been gentle with her since childhood, watching her grow from a young child into a beautiful rose. Nan Nan grows up cherished and has been attached to Shi Chengyan since she was little. It takes several chance encounters after they reach adulthood for them to realize that, behind his tenderness, there has long been a love that has taken root deep in their hearts. When the breeze stirs, their feelings finally meet, and the bond between their two distinguished families blossoms into a lifetime together, devoted to one another alone.

In the bridal chamber, red candles burn brightly, and wedding characters cover the doors and windows. Shi Chengyan gently lifts Nan Nan’s red veil. Their eyes meet, and they both smile. As they smile, tears fill both their eyes.

“At last,” Shi Chengyan says softly, “you’re my wife.”

Nan Nan nods. “At last, you’re my husband.”
