The Lost Scrolls of Dao Xuan

In the chaotic Great Chu, immortal sects have fallen into decline, and the traditions of the mystic schools are nearly extinct.

The orphaned youth Lin Xuanchen inherits the only surviving ancient mystic scripture, the Taichu Scripture, in a ruined temple among the craggy mountains.

With no spiritual root to rely on, no sect to back him, and no immortal fate to guide him, he has only a single scripture with which to seek the Great Dao of Heaven and Earth.

He draws upon innate true qi, cultivates the true meaning of the Dao, drives out evil spirits, suppresses monsters, breaks through illusions, and steps onto the path to immortality.

The once-forgotten little temple gradually becomes the backbone of the Daoist tradition, while an ordinary youth of humble origins eventually becomes the supreme master of the mystic schools.

He worships neither Heaven nor gods and ghosts, guarding only the righteous path in his heart. He does not chase the illusory promise of eternal life, seeking only to carry the Dao through all ages.

From a humble guardian of a ruined Daoist temple to the Dao Ancestor of myriad worlds,

one ancient scripture opens heaven and earth, and one Daoist body suppresses the eight wastelands!
