Protagonist: Chen Wang
Male, 20 years old when he appeared, an Orion in the mountainous area of Lingshou County in the Shanxi-Chahar-Hebei Border Region. He has a calm and taciturn personality, a thoughtful mind, and strong observation skills. He has a tenacity in his bones that refuses to admit defeat, but he never fights bravely. His father was a retired marksman from the Northeastern Army. He taught him basic firearms principles and shooting skills, and with more than ten years of hunting training, he developed extremely accurate marksmanship. In 1937, during a raid by the Japanese army, his parents and sister were killed by the Japanese army, and his hometown was destroyed. After he killed three lone Japanese soldiers with his ancestral shotgun, he joined the local anti-Japanese guerrillas and was later incorporated into the Shanxi-Chahar-Hebei Military Region of the Eighth Route Army. From a hunter bent on revenge, he grew into a revolutionary soldier who understood tactics, had faith, and was able to lead a team. He was recognized in the army as a special marksman who can "determine the world with one shot."
