God of War: Dark Wolf Hall

He was once the Empire's sharpest blade. For ten years, he single-handedly defended the Northern Frontier, keeping the other nations from daring to look south.

His achievements threatened the throne. Once the enemy was vanquished, he was cast aside. A cup of poisoned wine, and thirty thousand loyal soldiers were buried in a snowy night.

He died at the hands of the king he trusted most, only to be reborn sixteen years later in the body of a destitute young man.

In this life, he would fight for no one.

On the frozen plains of the Northern Frontier, he founded the Dark Wolf Hall and laid down an iron law: “Bloodshed ends with bloodshed.”

Those who invade our land will pay in blood.

Those who prey on our people will pay in blood.

Amid the flames of a chaotic age, he used the cruelest methods to defend the coldest peace.

When the iron hooves of foreign armies once again trampled across the land, the forgotten name returned from the darkness.

“When the Dark Wolves ride, blood will be spilled.”

“But have you ever asked those who survived? Are they afraid of the Dark Wolves, or of the war that follows in their wake?”
