Tang Sanzang binds himself to a “Trash-Talking System” and completely lets loose. The journey to the West is full of laughs as he runs his mouth like a pro.
He ignores the rules of the scripture pilgrimage. When he meets demons, he doesn't fight them. Instead, he hurls poems and tongue twisters at them until they lose their nerve and fall into disarray, or even talks them to death or into submission. He takes on the Heavenly Court, including the Jade Emperor and Nezha, and the Buddhist realm, including the Tathagata, Guanyin, Manjushri, and Samantabhadra. Even the Tathagata is left speechless and secretly takes his side. He overcomes every obstacle on the pilgrimage with his sharp tongue, and his cultivation rises as he insults people, letting him make a spectacular comeback.
He talks Wukong into submission and forcibly takes him as his disciple, then does the same to Bajie and Sha Wujing, forming a scripture-seeking team.
He never chants sutras or urges people to do good. When he meets a demon, he roasts it first.
When he meets a god, he takes them head-on.
His cultivation rises through trash talk.
He rewrites the story of Journey to the West.
