In his previous life, Zhao Yixuan clawed his way up from obscurity to the top, only to be assassinated at the height of his success.
When he wakes again, he has transmigrated into another world and taken over the body of a notorious playboy named Zhao Yixuan.
As soon as he arrives, he rescues Rong Yu, who was drugged in a scheme cooked up by his fiancée and her lover. After the antidote takes effect, Rong Yu immediately kills him out of gratitude.
Zhao Yixuan returns to the Zhao family, decisively ends his engagement to his fiancée, and takes in his older sister's stepson, Rong Yu.
He knows Rong Yu is putting on an act, but doesn't mind. In fact, he thinks Rong Yu is rather adorable when he plays the innocent little white lotus.
But the longer they spend together, the more secrets Zhao Yixuan uncovers, and the less innocent Rong Yu seems. He's not merely a little white lotus pretending to be sweet to stay alive. He's a bloodthirsty man-eating flower.
