[War of Resistance + secret identity + red heart beneath a white exterior + sharpshooter + thoughtful protagonist + coming-of-age]
Gou Qiangshi has just downed a cup of liquor when he transmigrates to war-torn northwestern Shanxi.
He is now the only son of a wealthy merchant, a position that seems perfect for his dream of lying flat.
But he has another identity: village chief, a job that requires him to work for the Japanese.
Do it badly, and he loses his head. Do it well, and his countrymen lose theirs!
How is he supposed to lie flat like that?
By chance, he awakens an incomplete sharpshooting skill, and a mysterious expert called Old Li secretly comes to his aid.
So he decides to lie low as village chief, keep resisting the Japanese, and become a good chief with a white exterior and a red heart.
How many countrymen can he protect as a village chief?
Then he’ll keep climbing the ranks!
As high as he can go, and take out as many Japanese as he can!
Defend home and country: we’ll start with the village chief!
