Eerie: Are There This Many Lunatics in the City?

[Paranormal + Invincible + Comedy + Walking Disaster + Urban]

In a world crawling with paranormal horrors, Chen Chen is an ordinary migrant worker from Tuwa Village and a firm atheist. He has two lifelong wishes: to move to the city and earn money, then build a paved road for his village.

But as soon as he arrives in the city, he boards the ghost bus No. 444, mistakes a green-faced ghost for a passenger with a stiff neck, treats the rules of death as ride instructions, and casually wipes out every paranormal entity on the bus with a shove. He rents the cheapest haunted apartment, mistakes bloody handprints for a child’s doodles and haunted-domain traps for renovation flaws, and manages to scam the apartment itself into giving him the place for free, just to keep him from tearing it apart.

He thinks he’s just an ordinary young man with good luck. Little does he know that to paranormal beings, he’s a walking jinx with a black aura; to Bureau 404, he’s a human-shaped bad-luck charm who causes trouble wherever he goes; and to the big shots of the Underworld, he’s a nightmare that makes them flee in the middle of the night and hide in the mortal world, too afraid to show their faces. Every company he joins goes bankrupt, and every villain who crosses him comes to grief. He firmly believes there are no ghosts in this world. City folk just get up to some weird stuff!
