An Unbreakable Proud Heart

Based on a true story! I grew up in a complicated family, and the realities of that family left me with an illness in childhood that has troubled me all my life... I grew up surrounded by jealousy and intimidation. As a child, I watched my parents lift our family out of hardship. Just as they were getting back on their feet, my childhood illness began to recur for special reasons. As a teenager, I didn't think much of it. My parents were the only ones who were heartbroken. Gradually, as I grew up in a world of warmth and coldness, I realized that whenever the illness returned, I was the one who suffered, and my parents were the ones who grieved. Some relatives thought I was putting on an act, while others kept their distance because of my illness! I kept trying to overcome it, again and again. I kept trying to get along with my extended family... But after my father passed away, the sudden warmth from my relatives and the shock of their lightning-fast change stunned me. I tried different treatments again and again, only to be disappointed every time. As I struggled against my illness, I let my guard down while they gradually wore me down, and nearly all my property ended up in the hands of the relatives who had been warming me up to them. My father's inheritance was taken from me. My relatives mocked me and cut ties with me. My illness kept tormenting me, and my family fell apart. Some relatives even went so far as to suggest sending me to a psychiatric hospital... Every time the illness returned, I was left heartbroken, but each time I encouraged myself again! I have to be strong! My father's image, falling down again and again only to get back up and hold our family together, has always stayed in my mind. When my illness comes, I have to be strong! I'll do my best to beat it... When I'm all alone, I have to be strong! No matter how harsh the world is, no matter whether I'm at rock bottom, with a battered body and an unyielding heart, I will keep going...
