Nine-Pearl Powder

During the Republican era, my great-grandfather was lured by members of the Fu family into exploring the Song Dynasty tomb in Luoyang and an underground ancient tomb beneath a temple on Mount Jiuhua. There, he accidentally discovered a mysterious Buddhist bead. Years later, in 2002, the same kind of bead appeared again in a Six Dynasties tomb beneath an abandoned chemical plant in Nanjing. In 2003, I found my great-grandfather's notes and two Buddhist beads back in my hometown. Gradually, I realized the nine beads were connected to the “Nine Tomb Formation,” while forces lurking in the shadows were trying to gather them all and open the legendary Avici Hell.
