All the Pokemon in My House Are Powerhouses

I'm Ye Qing, a former Bilibili creator from the meme-making section. I died suddenly and transmigrated into the Pokemon world.

I thought I could just take it easy, but from the start I got bound to a ridiculous System:

[Four-Times Ice-Weak Training System]: Host, you can only catch Pokemon that are four times weak to Ice~

Me: ??? Garchomp? Dragonite? Salamence? They're all weak to Ice? Isn't this just asking to get crushed?

System: So what if they're four times weak to Ice? Just looking cool is enough! Ice-type Gyms: trembling.jpg

Fine, then.

I caught my first Gible, and its former Trainer called it “a useless Pokemon that's four times weak to Ice.”

I turned around and made a joke out of it: “Thanks, bro, for sending me a Pokemon. This is what you call a meaty egg-and-scallion chicken!”

From then on, things got increasingly ridiculous:

Cashier Psyduck (can't count money, but nobody dares shortchange it in case its headache makes it go berserk)

Foreman Eevee (a haughty young lady who complains about me to my face, then sneaks over to tuck me in at night)

Morale officer Haunter (a born ham. It dressed up as Cai Xukun playing basketball, but I told it its Iron Mountain Lean wasn't convincing enough)

Taste tester Snorlax (eats, then lies down in front of the shop and becomes a living billboard)

And my official team members:

Garchomp, Salamence, Dragonite, Landorus, Gliscor...

All six members of the team are four times weak to Ice.

The whole internet mocked me: “The easiest Trainer in history to counter!”

Until the League tournament:

I brought my all-Ice-weak team and racked up win after win with one outrageous play after another.

Commentator: “This makes no scientific sense!”

Opponent: “That's impossible!”

Audience: “How can they win like that???”

Me: “Whether it makes scientific sense doesn't matter. What matters is... Boss, I miss you.

A Pokemon fanfic with a slow-burn pace overall.
