The tomb keeper Jiang Xun just wanted to survive in this troubled world, until the day when the monster slaughtered the village, he was forced to merge with the broken godhead unearthed from the ancient tomb.
Overnight, he became the prey of the whole world——
The remnants of the Heavenly Palace want to dig out his godhead and resurrect the true God;
The God-Slaying Society wants to destroy his godhead and cut off his divine veins;
The Ten Thousand Demon Mountains want to devour his godhead and rebuild the Demon Court.
But there is a bigger secret hidden in his body: two complete gods are devouring each other - the Lord of the God-killing Platform (killing, judgment) and the Buddha of All Living Beings' Wishful Power (compassion, salvation). The dual godheads prevented him from becoming either a demon or a Buddha, but it also kept him on the edge of collapse forever.
On the way to escape, he met Shen Mo, a woman who defected from Tiangong. She came to resurrect her sister, but she saw the last bit of "human" warmth in him. They use each other, redeem each other, and cling to each other's humanity in the eyes of two crazy souls.
When the truth is revealed - the death of the gods thousands of years ago was actually the sacrifice of the first generation of gods to die for mankind; and today's resurrection will awaken their resentment and devour the world -
Jiang Xun must make a choice between "becoming a god and saving the world" and "die as a human being."
But he chose the third path:
Kill the god on the stage and kill the devil in your heart.
