In 2077, a phenomenon known as "Data Erosion" breaks out worldwide. Unknown rifts gradually blur the boundary between the real world and virtual game worlds: game data becomes physical, while real-world matter turns into data. Countless people are swallowed by the rifts, including Chu Mu's younger sister, Chu Yao. To find her and stop the world from collapsing, Chu Mu and four women from very different backgrounds, programmer Su Qing, former esports player Zhao Yan, illustrator Xia Mo, and history graduate student Qiao Yin, are drawn into the "Realm Nexus" and become "Restorers."
