Delicate, not exaggerated, consistent with reality
This book was written very slowly. So slow that you would follow Lin Wanxing and wear a ring with "Xingchuan" engraved on it for four years, but you still don't know what else is hidden under the engraved mark.
Some people think it is a story about waiting - a girl waits from college to jail, and from jail to death. But what I read was about "not ringing". Hanchuan stayed silent in prison and swallowed all the bitterness; Lin Wanxing stayed silent on the road to entrepreneurship and swallowed all the waits; Shen Zhiyi stayed silent in a rival company and stepped on all the dangers. Everyone is in their place, doing the same thing day after day, and time passes by them, leaving subtle, almost imperceptible traces.
If you like fast-paced stories, this book may not be for you. Its power does not lie in the twists and turns of the plot, but in those "unwritten parts" that readers need to discover by themselves, and the process of discovery itself is a process of emotional investment.
