Light of Time

The work tells a story that began in 1990 in a village called Jiangzhou in the south, and depicts the history of the village for decades. Jiangzhou Village has the surnames Wang, Mao, Wu and Zhou. Through the development and changes of the times, it shows the various life styles of the villagers. It mainly revolves around Wang Guoqiang, an ordinary character, who uses his own hands to improve the lives of his family and villagers. Life was very inconvenient in the days when kerosene lamps and candles were lit. The villagers of the Wang family urgently need electricity to improve their lives. Others are afraid to move forward, so Wang Guoqiang rises to the challenge and takes on this important task. When the flood hit the village in 1998, Wang Guoqiang, Wang Guofu and others organized the villagers to evacuate and rebuild their homes, and many other wonderful stories.
