Jiangcheng University has launched an “Arts and Sciences Integration Program.” Liu Zhiwei, a girl with a purely science-and-engineering background, is unexpectedly assigned to the doomed Group Three. Not only did every member rank at the bottom of the interviews, they all have secrets of their own. Cellist Shen Ci keeps rubbing his lower back as he forces a smile. Martial arts student Lu Shen keeps to himself and puts up a wall between him and everyone else. Chinese dancer Jiang Ning is prickly and not to be messed with. Shen Tingwan, who sings in the traditional folk style, seems soft and sweet, but has another side to her.
