Lin Ye is a boy whose origins are shrouded in mystery. When rent leaves him with nowhere to turn, he finds a rusty copper bell in a pile of trash, one that rings all by itself. The bell shatters the peace he built around his “hallucinations.” When a blood moon hangs overhead, he sees a shadow identical to himself. Deep in an old alley, a trash collector uses yellow paper figures to sketch the mysterious tattoo on Lin Ye’s collarbone. Then an old photo suddenly appears on his phone, binding his life irrevocably to the “Fire in Trapped Dragon Alley” from forty years ago.
“Find the third gatekeeper, or you’ll be trapped in the loop forever.”
As the bell’s chime becomes a death knell, Lin Ye has no choice but to face the secret his parents abandoned him with: he isn’t delusional, but a chosen “vessel.” The twisted visions are fragments of different times overlapping in his eyes, and even his seemingly kindhearted friend hides murderous intent in his shadow.
Every chime tears through time and space; every encounter with “himself” resets fate. Lin Ye must race through alleyways caught in countless loops, searching for the truth in the gap between reality and illusion. Is he trapped in someone else’s conspiracy, or is the entire world merely a dream reflected in his blood and bones?
