Light Through the Cracks

Senior-year valedictorian Yun Shitang VS transfer student Shen Yuxin, the class's bottom-ranked student

(Sweet romance in the beginning, with the heroine choosing herself in the end)

(Friends helping each other heal)

Under the crushing pressure of her studies, senior-year valedictorian Yun Shitang is on the verge of breaking down. Just then, Shen Yuxin transfers into her class and becomes her desk mate. As they interact more and more, their relationship quickly heats up. For this good girl, her first forbidden kiss becomes the wildest rush of her youth. He once led her out of the abyss, only to lock her in a cage with his own hands. It isn't until they go their separate ways for good that Yun Shitang understands: only she can truly save herself.

She was the top student, everyone's role model, and a shadow curled up alone in the dead of night.

She didn't dare say she was tired, admit she liked anyone, or acknowledge that she was close to falling apart.

When Shen Yuxin appeared, she thought he was her light. But all he left her was a goodbye.

Only later did she understand: true light was a friend's phone call that lasted all night, her father's awkward words, “Daddy isn't going to lecture you,” and the cat her mother brought home.

She made it through senior year on her own, went to the grasslands, and played a song she had written herself.

Years later, when they met again on a street corner, she gave a slight nod and turned away.

Behind her was no him, only three figures running toward her.

She had once been a crack in the dark.

Later, she became the light.
