[Unofficial Prequel to Hollow Knight: Silksong] A canon-divergent fanfic with no romance, focused on serious political intrigue and epic history.
No mindless power trip, no golden finger. Grounded in historical materialism, this story fills in the complete rise and fall of the Weave Kingdom, a history the official canon leaves entirely blank. Beyond Hallownest, it reconstructs a century of political intrigue and dynastic change on another insect continent.
From tribal chaos amid rising white noise to unification and the founding of a nation beneath the silk; from power struggles in a dynasty at the height of its glory to three kings sharing rule in step with the times; from a century lying low in the Abyss to restoration and the curtain falling at the end. Five complete volumes trace the full course of a land's rise and fall.
※ Even if you have never played the original game, you can still enjoy this story.
No preparation is needed. The world, factions, and characters are all introduced in full within the story. There is no absolute good or evil here, only choices and struggles in a game of power. Wars have tactics, while political intrigue has no formula. There are no prophecies or miracles, only individuals struggling and making choices within their limits amid a time of chaos.
We use the official setting's spare details as our bones and an original historical tale as our flesh. With the historical style of Romance of the Three Kingdoms, we fill in the unknown century of history on the Weave continent and reconstruct the full life arcs of characters such as the Silk Mother, Hera, and Lace.

Note: This book does not adhere strictly to the original game. Some plot points differ, but the broad course of history is the same. You can think of it as the relationship between Romance of the Three Kingdoms and Records of the Three Kingdoms.
Isn't anyone watching? It's very beautiful.
I feel very good
It's too outrageous to have 300,000 words without a single comment. I remember reading the book for a while when it was new, but no one stayed.
