An Acre of Immortal Fields

Others cultivate through talent. I cultivate by farming.

After transmigrating, Gu Heng became a hunter's son in Qingya Village. With the lowest-grade mixed spiritual roots, he was declared to have “no path to immortality.”

Then, one day, he found a broken stele in the mountains behind the village. A drop of blood landed on it, and a patch of gray mist appeared in his dantian. Inside the mist was a small plot of land that produced a wisp of spiritual energy each day.

He discovered he could refine land: as long as his feet touched real earth, he could draw it into his dantian and turn it into his own spiritual field. The larger and higher-grade his field, the more spiritual energy it produced each day.

While others meditated and cultivated with painstaking effort, his cultivation rose even while he lay around.

But Gu Heng knew all too well that if this secret got out, he would die without a burial place.

Because he knew that in this cultivation world, teeming with monsters and treacherous people, the one who lived longest would have the last laugh.

Until one day, he discovered that his spiritual field seemed to have countless ties to the Netherworld Sect, which had been wiped out a century ago...
